Refund policy

RETURNS, EXCHANGES AND REFUND POLICY

This policy covers physical products bought at holla-hair.com — hot tools, brushes and accessories.

For Holla Academy courses and other digital products, see our separate refund policy for digital products.

1. 30-DAY RETURNS

You may return a tool within 30 days of delivery, provided it is unused, unopened and in its original packaging with all accessories and inserts included.

Once we receive the return and inspect it, we refund the price of the product to your original payment method.

Please note:

Return shipping is at your own expense, and we recommend a tracked service — we cannot refund an item that does not reach us.
Original shipping charges are not refunded.
Refunds are issued within 5 business days of the return arriving and passing inspection. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it can take a further 5–10 business days for the funds to appear on your statement.

2. HOW TO START A RETURN OR EXCHANGE

Email info@holla-hair.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Please do not ship anything back before contacting us.

3. EXCHANGES

If you ordered the wrong plug type or the wrong barrel size, or you would simply like to swap for a different product, exchanges are available within the same 30-day window and subject to stock, on the same condition — unused, unopened and in its original packaging. You cover the shipping back to us, and we cover the shipping of the replacement to you.

4. WHAT CANNOT BE RETURNED

Tools that have been opened or used, for hygiene and safety reasons;
Returns requested more than 30 days after delivery;
Items missing their original packaging, accessories or inserts;
Items damaged by misuse, neglect or unauthorised repair;
Digital products, including Holla Academy courses, which are covered by our separate refund policy for digital products;
Free gifts and promotional items received at no charge.

5. DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS

If your order arrives damaged, or the wrong item was sent, email info@holla-hair.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and the packaging. We will replace it or refund it in full, and we cover the shipping both ways. This is separate from the 30-day return window above and does not depend on the packaging being unopened.

6. 12-MONTH WARRANTY

Every HOLLA hot tool is covered for 12 months from the date of purchase against defects in materials or workmanship.

To make a claim, email info@holla-hair.com with your order number or proof of purchase and a description of the fault.
If we ask you to send the tool back, package it securely to prevent damage in transit.
Once we receive and inspect it, and confirm the fault is a manufacturing defect, we dispatch a replacement at no cost to you, using the same or a similar shipping method as your original order.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by neglect, misuse, dropping, liquid damage, use with an incorrect voltage or adapter, or unauthorised repair. Any alteration to the tool voids the warranty.

Please keep your receipt as proof of purchase.

7. ORDER CANCELLATIONS

We process orders quickly. You have a one-hour window after ordering to request a cancellation or an address change at info@holla-hair.com. We will always try to accommodate a request made inside that window, but we cannot guarantee it once the order has entered fulfilment.

8. CARING FOR YOUR TOOL

Cool down — unplug the tool and let it cool completely before cleaning.

Clean — with the tool unplugged and cool, wipe the surfaces with a cloth moistened in warm water, repeating until the buildup lifts. For stubborn residue, add a little rubbing alcohol or a professional iron cleaner. Dry the tool fully before using it again.

Store — keep the tool somewhere safe, out of reach of children and away from water.

9. BEFORE YOU DISPUTE A CHARGE

If something is wrong with your order, please email info@holla-hair.com first. We answer every email and we would much rather solve the problem directly than have you go through your bank.
