Hair Tools Overview
Holla Hair makes professional hair tools designed specifically for bridal and event hairstylists. The current lineup includes three curling irons (the Luxe Wave Curling Iron in 19mm, 25mm, and 32mm barrel sizes), three professional hair dryers (the TurboPower for US-based stylists, the Weightless Power for EU/AU markets, and the Flex Power for travelling stylists), the Volume & Sleek Crimper for invisible root volume, two finishing brushes (Luxe Polish No. 1 and No. 2), and three round blow-dry brushes (Luxe Detail 19mm, Luxe Curve 45mm, and Luxe Volume 53mm). Every tool is engineered to be lightweight, with extended working surfaces built for professional use — not the mass market.
Yes — Holla Hair tools are built specifically for professional daily use, not occasional home styling. The hair dryers use either a high-speed motor (TurboPower, Flex Power) or brushless motor (Weightless Power) that each last 5,000+ hours — roughly six times longer than an average professional dryer. The curling irons and Volume & Sleek Crimper are built for full bridal seasons, on-location shoots, and back-to-back styling days. The lightweight design across all tools directly reduces the wrist fatigue, hand strain, and shoulder tension professional stylists develop over years of holding heavy tools. The brand was founded by a bridal hairstylist with 780+ brides of experience — every durability decision comes from real working conditions.
Yes, with appropriate technique. Holla Hair tools have 3 heat settings precisely so you can select the temperature that suits the hair you are working on. For colour-treated, bleached, or chemically processed hair, use the lower heat setting and always apply a quality heat protectant before styling. The smooth ceramic-style coating on the Luxe Wave Curling Iron barrels allows hair to glide without snagging, reducing mechanical damage. The soft-press clip prevents indentation marks that can damage fragile hair. As with any professional tool, matching heat level to hair condition is a professional judgement — the 3-setting range gives you the control to do that accurately across every client.
Yes. All Holla Hair heat tools have 3 heat settings specifically so you can work at a lower temperature on fine, fragile, or colour-treated hair. For fine hair, the 19mm Luxe Wave Curling Iron is the ideal size — the smaller barrel gives you controlled definition without over-processing delicate strands. The smooth ceramic-style coating and soft-press clip on all curling irons prevent snagging and mechanical damage. On the lowest heat setting, both the curling irons and the Volume & Sleek Crimper work beautifully on fine hair — the key is working in smaller, thinner sections so the heat has full contact. For fine hair that lacks grip and volume, the Volume & Sleek Crimper is especially valuable: its micro-wave plates create invisible texture at the roots that gives fine hair the structural hold it otherwise struggles to keep all day.
The right setting depends on the hair you are working on — there is no single universal answer. Here is a quick guide: Setting 1 (lowest): Fine, thin, colour-treated, bleached, or chemically processed hair. Always start here if you are unsure. Setting 2: Normal or medium-density hair. The most-used setting for the average bridal client. Setting 3 / 230°C / 450°F (maximum): Thick, coarse, resistant, or very long hair — and for hair that needs the heat to last through a full wedding day. Always apply a heat protectant before styling. If you are working on a new client and unsure of their hair density, start at Setting 2 and adjust from there. The 3-setting range was built so you can match the tool to the client in front of you.
Curling Iron & Crimper
The right barrel size depends on the bridal look you are building. For tight, defined waves or structured curls — especially on fine or shorter hair — the 19mm (0.75 inch) gives you the most control and the crispest definition. For the most popular bridal wave — soft, romantic, and universally wearable — the 25mm (1 inch) is the most versatile size and the most-used among working bridal stylists. For loose, beachy waves, open Hollywood-style glamour curls, or long thick hair, the 32mm (1.25 inch) creates a more open curl with maximum movement and volume. All three heat to 230°C / 450°F across 3 settings. The extended barrel length across all three sizes means you wrap more hair per pass — noticeably faster on long bridal hair.
19 MM Curling Iron | 25 MM Curling Iron | 32 MM Curling Iron
Three things separate the Luxe Wave from most professional irons on the market. First, the extended barrel length — it is meaningfully longer than a standard curling iron, so you wrap more hair in a single pass, work faster on long bridal hair, and significantly reduce total styling time. Second, the ultra-lightweight body — engineered specifically to prevent the wrist pain and fatigue that bridal stylists experience during Hollywood Wave work, which can require hours of continuous curling. Third, the soft-press clip — designed with just enough resistance so you have control, but no pull marks or indentations left in the curl. Additional details like the 3-meter cord (built for on-location bridal work) and anti-frizz coating were each chosen because of real working conditions, not laboratory benchmarks. Available in three barrel sizes and US, EU, and AU plug configurations.
All Luxe Wave Curling Irons and the Volume & Sleek Crimper feature 3 heat settings with a maximum of 230°C / 450°F. This professional-grade range works effectively on every hair type — from fine and colour-treated bridal hair at lower settings, to thick, coarse, or resistant hair that needs the maximum setting for lasting results. The fast heat-up time means you are ready when your client sits down, without waiting. The 3-setting range also gives you flexibility when moving between clients with very different hair textures in the same wedding-morning kit setup.
The Volume & Sleek Crimper is Holla Hair's best-selling tool and the product the brand was built on. It is a professional crimper engineered with micro-sized, soft-wave plate teeth — refined through nearly ten prototype samples to perfect the exact millimetres and angles. These ultra-fine wavy plates create grip and root lift without leaving the visible, harsh crimp pattern that traditional crimpers produce. The result is invisible volume: the structural foundation that makes bridal updos, buns, and ponytails hold their shape all day and night without any texture showing in the finished look. This is the answer to the most common sceptical question — "won't it leave crimp marks?" No. That is exactly the engineering point. It heats to 230°C / 450°F across 3 settings, is lightweight for continuous sectioning work, and is available in US, EU, and AU plug options.
The Luxe Wave Curling Irons and Volume & Sleek Crimper are available in US, EU, and AU plug configurations — you select the right plug for your primary working region at purchase. They are not dual-voltage tools. If you regularly travel to different voltage regions for destination weddings, you would need a plug adapter and voltage converter appropriate for your destination, or you can contact Holla Hair before ordering to confirm the right configuration for your specific travel pattern. For a dryer that works globally without a converter, the Flex Power Hair Dryer is dual-voltage (110–240V) and designed specifically for travelling stylists.
A crimper presses hair between shaped plates to create a wavy or textured pattern in the hair shaft. Traditional crimpers leave a very visible, sharp zigzag effect — the exaggerated look most people associate with the 1990s. The Holla Hair Volume & Sleek Crimper is completely different. Instead of creating a visible pattern, its micro-sized soft-wave plates create invisible texture — tiny, subtle waves in the hair shaft that add grip, volume, and structural hold without any visible crimp showing in the finished style. Hairstylists use it on the underlayers of updos, buns, and ponytails so the style holds its shape all day. The texture lives underneath, not on top. The answer to "but won't it leave crimp marks?" is no — that is exactly the engineering point. The micro-teeth were designed specifically to prevent that.
The Luxe Wave Curling Irons are available in three plug configurations — US (Type A, flat two-pin), EU (Type C/E, round two-pin), and AU (Type I, angled three-pin). You select your plug type at the time of purchase. The tools are not dual-voltage, so order the plug that matches your country's standard. The 25mm Luxe Wave Curling Iron reaches a maximum temperature of 230°C / 450°F across 3 heat settings — the same as the 19mm and 32mm. The cord length is 3 metres, designed specifically for on-location bridal work. If you regularly work across multiple countries and need a tool that works globally without a voltage converter, the Flex Power Hair Dryer is the only Holla Hair tool with true dual-voltage (110–240V) capability.
Professional Hair Dryers
The right Holla Hair dryer depends entirely on where you work and whether you travel with your kit.
- TurboPower ($260) — US or Canada based stylists. Its 110,000 RPM high-speed motor generates power from rotation speed rather than voltage, delivering true salon-level performance within the US 110–120V grid. Half the weight of an average professional dryer, ionic finish, 5,000+ hour lifespan.
- Weightless Power ($167) — Europe, Australia, UK, Israel, or any 220–240V country. A brushless motor makes it approximately half the weight of an average professional dryer with the same professional airflow — the engineering choice that also gives it a 5,000+ hour lifespan. Ionic, anti-frizz finish.
- Flex Power ($247) — Travelling stylists and destination wedding workers. Dual-voltage (110–240V worldwide), foldable handle for carry-on luggage, 330g (11.7oz) weight, 110,000 RPM motor, 3 heat settings, 3 speed settings, cool shot, and 3 magnetic nozzles including a diffuser.
Turbo Power - US/CA | Weightless Power - EU/AU | Flex Power - Travel
Every Holla Hair dryer addresses a problem most professional stylists have accepted as unavoidable. The TurboPower solves the hidden voltage problem: most US-based dryers are fighting against the 110V grid. The TurboPower's 110,000 RPM high-speed motor generates power from rotation speed rather than voltage, so it performs at a true salon level that most US dryers simply cannot reach. The Weightless Power addresses the injury problem: a high percentage of professional hairstylists develop wrist, hand, and shoulder pain from holding heavy dryers all day. At half the weight of a standard professional dryer with the same airflow, the Weightless Power is the direct answer. Its brushless motor also runs cooler and lasts longer than conventional AC motors. The Flex Power addresses the travel problem: professional dryers are heavy, often non-dual-voltage, and bad for carry-on bags. The Flex Power folds, weighs 330g, and works worldwide without a voltage converter.
Yes. The Flex Power runs the same 110,000 RPM high-speed motor as the TurboPower. It was originally designed for hairstylists working on location — destination weddings, editorial shoots, on-site bridal mornings — where professional power is non-negotiable. The foldable design and 330g weight are travel features, not compromises to performance. It has 3 heat settings, 3 speed settings, a cool shot, and comes with 3 magnetic nozzles including a diffuser for curly or textured hair. The dual-voltage system (110–240V) means it works in any country without a converter — just a plug adapter. For stylists who travel internationally or want one dryer for both home and destination work, the Flex Power is the right choice.
Both dryers run the same 110,000 RPM high-speed motor and deliver the same professional-level airflow. The difference is where and how you use them.
- TurboPower: US and Canada only (110–120V). Not foldable, not travel-designed. The right choice if you work exclusively in the US or Canada and want a dedicated salon dryer that lives in your kit.
- Flex Power: Worldwide (dual voltage 110–240V). Foldable handle. 330g. 3 magnetic nozzles including diffuser. The right choice if you travel internationally, work destination weddings across countries, or want one dryer that works everywhere with just a plug adapter.
- If you only work in the US and never travel with your dryer, choose the TurboPower. If you travel at all — even occasionally — choose the Flex Power.
Here is the quick guide by region:
- United States, Canada: TurboPower Hairdryer (110–120V only)
- Europe, Australia, UK, Israel: Weightless Power Hairdryer (220–240V only)
- Everywhere worldwide / travel / destination weddings: Flex Power Hair Dryer (dual voltage 110–240V — works globally with only a plug adapter, no voltage converter needed)
- For curling irons and the Volume & Sleek Crimper: these come in US, EU, or AU plug configurations — you select at purchase. They are not dual-voltage, so order the plug matching your country. If you are unsure or are in a region not listed, contact the team before ordering and they will confirm the right product for your voltage.
Brushes & Finishing
The two Luxe Polish brushes serve different moments in the styling process. The Luxe Polish No. 1 ($17) has soft bristles and a small curved head — it is the precision finishing tool, designed for baby hairs, flyaways, fine hairline detail, and the final polish around buns and ponytails. This is the brush that closes the gap between a good updo and a flawless one. The Luxe Polish No. 2 ($29) has stiffer bristles and a slightly larger curved head — it is the working brush, built for applying consistent high-tension strokes across larger sections when creating truly sleek, structured styles: tight high ponytails, slicked-back buns, and clean runway lines. Both share the same curved, scalp-hugging head shape and ergonomic wooden handle. Many bridal stylists own both — No. 2 to build and tension, No. 1 to finish and refine.

The Luxe Round Brush collection has three sizes, each built for a different blow-dry job. For most bridal blow-dry prep, the Luxe Curve 45mm ($27) is the most versatile choice — it creates soft, natural bend and movement, the ideal structural base for curling, pinning, or updo work afterward. If you're working with long-haired brides or need maximum volume and speed, the Luxe Volume 53mm ($29) grabs the largest sections per pass and builds full-bodied lift most efficiently. For precise work on shorter pieces, fringes, face-framing layers, or targeted root lift in a specific area, the Luxe Detail 19mm ($24) gives you the control a larger brush cannot. All three share the same extended barrel length (holds more hair than standard round brushes), ceramic barrel for even heat distribution, ultra-lightweight ergonomic handle, and a pointed sectioning tip at the base.

The Luxe Lift ($19) is a professional styling tool for creating root lift and volume structure — commonly used as part of updo preparation. It supports the foundational work before pinning, giving the roots additional height and grip to help long-lasting styles hold their shape through a full wedding day. It is available on the Hair Tools page and is included in the Full Stylist Kit Bundle for stylists who want a complete professional kit.

Yes. Holla Academy masterclasses are built for working or aspiring professional bridal hairstylists at all levels. The complete, step-by-step format — covering prep, tool use, sectioning, tension, structure, and finish — is accessible whether you are building your foundations or refining advanced technique. Stylists who currently learn from short social media clips, who feel not yet ready for high-paying bridal bookings, who want to add specific looks to their service menu, or who experience inconsistent results across different clients will all benefit directly. More advanced stylists use the Academy to learn from artists they admire or to master specific styles they have not yet offered clients. Each masterclass is self-contained, so you start with whichever style is most relevant to where you are in your career right now.
Holla Stylists Community
The Holla Stylists community is the professional network built around the Holla Hair brand. Unlike influencer marketing programs, Holla works exclusively with real working bridal and event hairstylists — the brand is community-driven, not trend-driven. There are four ways to be part of it: the affiliate program (earn commission on sales through your unique link or code), free professional video editing (submit raw footage featuring a Holla tool, the team edits it into a polished reel for your social media at no cost), Holla Productions (selected stylists are invited to join brand photoshoots and video campaigns in cities including LA, New York, and Sydney), and tool design collaboration (pitch your own tool idea to be developed for the community). Learn more and apply at the Be Part of Holla Stylists page.
The Holla Hair affiliate program lets you earn a commission on every sale made through your unique referral link or personal discount code. You share your link or code with your clients, followers, and community — anyone who purchases through it generates a commission for you. It is designed for stylists who already use and genuinely love the tools and want to recommend them while earning from those recommendations. There is no cost to join. To apply, visit the Be Part of Holla Stylists page and submit your application.
Yes — this is one of the most practical and popular benefits of joining the Holla Stylists community. If your phone is full of raw footage from wedding mornings, behind-the-scenes clips, or styling content and you have never gotten around to posting it, Holla Hair's in-house editing team will transform your raw clips into a polished, professional video — a tutorial reel, behind-the-chair content, or any other format — ready for you to post on your page, at no cost. The only requirement is that at least one clip in your footage features a Holla Hair tool. Submit your footage via the Be Part of Holla Stylists page on the website.
Holla Productions is a program where selected professional hairstylists are invited to participate in brand photoshoots and video campaigns in cities around the world. Past and upcoming production locations include Los Angeles, New York, and Sydney. Participating stylists create looks for Holla Hair campaigns and Academy tutorials, with the opportunity to be featured in the brand's content and marketing materials. The program is selective — stylists apply and are invited based on their work and professional alignment with the brand. If you are interested in being part of an upcoming production, apply via the Be Part of Holla Stylists page.
Yes. Holla Hair actively collaborates with hairstylists from its community to design tools that solve real problems behind the chair. The brand was built on exactly this principle — the Volume & Sleek Crimper was created because the founder could not find a crimper with the right plate tooth size, sharpness, and bounce anywhere on the market. If you have always felt something was missing from your kit, or have an idea for a tool that would genuinely improve your workflow, you can pitch that idea via the Be Part of Holla Stylists page. The team reviews ideas and has developed tools in direct collaboration with working stylists. Maybe the next one will be yours.

For orders shipped to countries outside the US, customs fees may apply when your package arrives at the border, depending on the declared value and your country's import threshold. The amount varies by country. Holla Hair ships from warehouses in Arizona (US), China (Australia/NZ orders), and Israel (Israeli orders), with EU fulfilment from Germany currently in progress. Customers ordering from a country where Holla Hair has a local warehouse typically have lower or no customs exposure for those shipments. If you want to know what duties might apply before placing your order, search "[your country] import duty on hair styling tools" or check your country's customs authority website. If you have a specific question, the team is happy to help via the Contact Us page.
About Holla Hair
Holla Hair was founded by a bridal hairstylist with more than 780 brides of hands-on professional experience. The brand was created out of a genuine working need: the tools available on the market were not built with bridal stylists in mind. They were too heavy for long wedding days, too short in the barrel for professional speed, not engineered for on-location constraints, or simply not designed to solve the specific problems stylists face every weekend. Every Holla Hair product starts with a real problem identified behind the chair. The Volume & Sleek Crimper — the brand's first and best-selling tool — was developed because the founder could not find a single crimper on the market with the right tooth size, sharpness, and bounce. That is still the standard for how every product is made: by stylists, for stylists.
More than 2,000 professional hairstylists worldwide currently use Holla Hair tools — a number that has grown through community trust, peer recommendation, and word-of-mouth among bridal and event stylists globally. The tools are used by stylists across the United States, Australia, Europe, Israel, and many other countries. Holla Hair is trusted by internationally recognised bridal educators including Rachel Riley, Ashley Glazer, Charlotte Ewertz, Harley Chapman, Jillian Susten, and others who teach in the Holla Academy — stylists who have had their fair share of professional tools and have chosen Holla for their work.
